Help!!

I can't get my new picture at the top of the blog to be the right size.  It's either teeny tiny like it is now or super huge.  How can I get it to fit nicely??

Thanks :)

Time MARCHes on!!

I really, really need to update this more often...then it wouldn't seem so overwhelming.  Once every month doesn't quite cut it.  I'll try.  I promise.  So here is a summary of our March.

Ethan coloring a picture
Haven coloring or...just making a mess!
Yup--just making a mess :)
Ethan told me he wasn't tired and that he wasn't going to sleep.
I just told him to stay in the bed!
Daniel playing basketball
He really doesn't like his picture taken :)
Ethan dressed up as an army guy

...with rain boots :)
Haven found some mud :(
She loved it!!
(We have since planted grass seed here and it's much better.)
Haven with Ethan's hat
Sweet baby girl :)
Rare moment!!  6 of the kids playing nicely together :)
They have a saucer sled thing filled with water.  I have no idea
what they were doing.  They were all getting along and I
wanted proof!!
Peter
Sarah and Rachel
Um, well, this is a hole in the wall from...um, Tom's boys.
My boys would never be wild in the house.
This has since been patched by one of the boys at fault!
Maybe it was a good thing that this happened...he learned
how to drywall and mud :)
This is only on here because of the fact that these were out
in MARCH!  It was warm, sunny, hot even!  I planted
the garden, but, of course, it's Michigan.
Everything died from the freezing temps that came 2 weeks later.
80 degrees for 2 weeks and then snow the next!!
I copied this idea from a picture on Pinterest.  Those are Twinkies!
Haven climbed up to get the frosting. (She just
had a bath--that's why the funny hair.)
She thought she was so big eating frosting out of the container--
I took a picture and then told her no!
Trying to get a good picture of the girls
Haven, Rachel, and Sarah
Rachel's Birthday...March 2.  She is now 7!!  They got floss
so they could make bracelets.
Here are a couple more pillow pets I made for an auction.
They all sold :)

I asked Tom for a picture of him and this is what he sent me :)

Nathan in the backyard trying to either be a pro soccer player...
or put himself in the hospital :)
Haven teaching herself to sew
Dyanna, Rachel, and Sarah at Jungle Java
Ethan and Haven doing school!!

March was a beautiful month.  The weather was wonderful...mostly.  We were outside a lot and got spoiled.  Now that we are in the 40-60s, we're freezing again.  Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.  We had 2 birthdays in March...Rachel on the 2nd and Tom on the 26th.  I didn't get any pictures of him on his birthday, but we enjoyed going out to lunch alone :)  I think the kids enjoyed us being gone, too!  We also are loving having Tom home with us all day.  He was laid off from his job at the end of February and is still trying to figure out what the Lord wants him to do.  In the meantime, it's sooo wonderful to have him here with us.  (I'm getting spoiled.  He helps with so much-- the dishes, the cooking, the cleaning, the kids, etc.)  Tom also decided that it would be a good idea to break a bone now that he's 42.  Oops, that happened in April.  This is an update for March.  I'll have to keep you in suspense about which bone was broken.  But, more importantly...how it was broken.  He did, however, "pop" one of his ribs while working at the church cleaning we had at the end of March.  He was digging and felt one of his ribs pop.  He took a bunch of ibuprofen and kept on working.  Stubborn.  Man.  It hurt for quite awhile, but seems to be getting better.

That sums up March.  I'll try.  I promise to do this in shorter segments.  More often.
