Apple Orchard

We always love going to the apple orchard. Apples were a bit harder to come by this Fall because of the lack of rain all summer. However, the place we always go in Tipton, MI was nearly fine. The apples were a bit smaller than normal, but they had plenty. We took Andrew, Sarah, Rachel, Ethan, and Haven and went and picked a lot of apples. I think we picked 4 bushels!! The weather was perfect and we had a great time. (Nathan was at work and Daniel and Peter didn't want to go.)

It's hard to only pick a few pictures...hope you weren't terribly bored! (I didn't even post all of the ones I took.)

Random Pix

Andrew and Haven 'practicing' the piano...hey, Sam, here's proof that Andrew at least attempts to practice :)
Haven decided that she wanted to be a chair!
The girls were outside reading on the porch

For some reason, Ethan is posing with Rachel's bike!

Grandmas' houses

I took the 4 little people to visit my mom, but stopped by Tom's mom first. I took some pictures of the their backyard.

Lots of neat birdhouses and windchimes
Of course, there was a MI birdhouse...
 and a MI corner!
 Sarah
Another look at the MI corner
This is the only picture from my mom's...Rachel with Grandma's walker! My mom had her hip replaced at the end of August. We were there to visit her shortly after the surgery.

Haven, Sarah, and a new floor

Haven decided to line up all the dolls she could find one afternoon!

 My pretty Sarah

After living in this house for almost 14 years, we finally replaced the kitchen floor. (Actually, it was new when we moved in. BUT, it was white. Needless to say, after many years, it was no longer white and no longer new! It needed replaced very badly. I love the new floor!! Tom did most of the work himself, with a bit of help from the boys and me.)

Andrew's Birthday

Well, September started out with a bang...the 1st is Andrew's birthday. He turned 11 this year. Wow, has time flown. His birthday also helps us remember 9-11. He was 10 days old. Anyway, Andrew is 11 and is athletic like his older brothers. He loves soccer and football and riding his bike and playing in the street (!) and playing on his computer (much to his mother's dismay). He was recently baptized...please pray for him to grow into a godly young man.
