4th of July!

I know, I know. It's August 1st, not the 4th of July. But, remember, I have a new baby, 7 other kids, a Tom (!), cleaning, cooking, etc, etc. "Man works from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done." So, in another attempt to catch up on pictures, here are some from the 4th. I will try my very best to finish the July pictures this week. There are some cute ones coming.

Oh, by the way, I woke Haven up this morning (Saturday) at 9:15!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!! She slept for 10 hours straight :) I don't know how long she would have gone, but I was wanting to wake her up and feed her. I am so thankful that the Lord has given us such a wonderful sleeper. I whole-heartedly support scheduling your baby, too :)

Well, here are some pictures. I didn't take a whole lot during the day--it was very hot and I spent most of the time inside with Haven.

Trying to catch up on all my pictures

Here's Haven with her first doll, from Great Grandma S. Appropriately, the doll's name is Plumpee :) Haven--at 2 months already--is weighing right around 14 lbs. She's a chunk, but oh-so-cute!! She continues to be a sweet little (!) thing and is a great sleeper. She now goes to bed around 11pm (like the rest of the kids) and sleeps until 8am!!!!!!!! (Now, as soon as I write that, she'll be up at 6. But, for the most part, she sleeps until between 7 and 8 am.) I'm very happy about that.

Now, for other breaking news...well, some of you may already have heard. But, for those of you who have not........Ethan is pretty much engaged to be married at this point in his life. He's young, yes, but we figured we'd just go ahead and arrange this so we didn't have to bother with it later. Her name?? Rowan. See for yourself. (I was going to add captions, but I think they're better left to your imagination!!)

The last week of June/first week of July, Nathan went to Camp Joy. While he was there, the other 3 older boys had fun playing soccer with dad in the backyard. Here are some pictures of them playing (or, mostly resting!!). These are also proof that they do sometimes get along and love each other :)
Ethan and Peter--this hole has since been filled in and leveled!

Peter!!
Daniel
Daniel and Andrew--I love this picture ;)

While they were playing, Ethan had fun posing with his new sunglasses! He thinks he's so cool :)Cheesy smile
This is his monster face :)

There--I'm caught up for now. The rest of the pictures from July are still on my camera. I hope to have them on the computer tomorrow sometime. Who knows when they'll actually appear here on my blog?!?!

Cute little boy feet

Aren't those the cutest little feet ever?!?!

Swimming :)

The kids have been having a great time swimming at the Woodbury's pool this summer. It's fun to watch them until they start arguing. Arguing? Our kids, no...yes :( But, Ethan and Rachel are fun to watch. They're both doing really well this summer. The other kids are also doing much better this year. They all just started swimming last year.

Proof that Nathan does smile :)

Haven was just oh-so excited to watch :)
